Wages and related taxes account for a significant share of the total costs of production. When developing lines, the engineers of NPO Zvezda made every effort to simplify the design and increase automation. As a result, the number of operators was reduced to a minimum without compromising productivity or product quality. The equipment packages require 1–2 operators, depending on process complexity, required output and product range. The exact number of operators required can be found in the description of each line.
A high degree of automation reduces the number of operators and provides maximum control over product quality. Modern software, combined with a set of sensors, monitors all product parameters. The operator performs only a few tasks: loading raw materials, unloading finished material and carrying out a visual inspection.
When deviations are detected, an alert is triggered and notes are added to make it easier and faster to identify the causes. This minimizes the risk of incorrect operations or oversights caused by inattention or lack of experience.
