A conveyor is a continuous-action transport device for the mechanized movement of loads, bulk materials or products along a specified route. Conveyors are manufactured by Ivanovo Mechanical Plant and designed for reliable, long-term operation in industrial environments.
Supporting frame. A welded steel structure that forms the base of the conveyor. It provides rigidity and stability for the entire system under various loads. It is made from quality rolled steel with an anti-corrosion coating.
Belt or modular mesh belt. The working surface of the conveyor on which products are moved. PVC belts are used for transporting bulk materials and unit loads, while modular mesh belts are used in the food-processing industry. The conveyor can be equipped with a belt with transverse cleats or longitudinal corrugated sidewalls.
Drive mechanism. A geared motor drives the belt. Conveyors are equipped with a frequency converter for smooth speed adjustment and a control cabinet with an automation system.
Drive and tension drums. The drive drum transfers motion from the electric drive to the belt. The tension drum provides the required belt tension and compensates for belt elongation during operation.
Roller supports. They support the belt along the entire conveyor length, reduce sag and ensure uniform movement. In roller conveyors, the rollers are the main working elements.
