Ivanovo Mechanical Plant has a technology developed by a research laboratory established jointly by Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology (ISUCT) and Ivanovo Mechanical Plant. It enables the production of rebar with high strength properties and a production capacity of up to 20 linear meters per minute on continuous-operation equipment. Our research laboratory also works to improve the environmental safety of these production systems and the strength properties of GFRP rebar through an integrated scientific approach.
One of the key tasks in GFRP rebar production is controlling the composition of the raw materials—oligomers, compound, hardeners, and catalysts. This is addressed by drawing on the research capabilities and advanced instruments available at the university and laboratory. The formulation developed by our laboratory is scientifically substantiated, repeatedly validated through practical testing, and calculated based on the raw materials used.
