Argon welding services in Ivanovo

TIG welding

Conventional welding methods are not always suitable for joining stainless steel, copper, titanium, aluminum and various non-ferrous metals and alloys. Experienced welders often use TIG welding for these applications. This process is demanding, time-consuming and specialized.

TIG welding, also known as gas tungsten arc welding, takes place in an inert argon atmosphere. When two metals are joined, argon protects the weld from oxidation caused by contact with oxygen in the air. Because argon is 38% heavier than air, it displaces air from the welding zone, fills the working area and reliably isolates the molten metal from the atmosphere.

The welding process can be performed manually, semi-automatically or automatically. Welding modes are classified according to the method used and the type of electrode involved. There are two types of electrodes: consumable and non-consumable. The latter includes a tungsten electrode, which can provide a strong and reliable joint between two metals, including dissimilar metals.

Advantages of the technology

Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) is a specialized technology that creates an oxygen-free environment at the joints of metal products. It makes it possible to join complex parts in different planes. The advantages of GTAW include:

  • a perfectly even weld;
  • joining parts of different sizes and shapes;
  • a high-quality, uniform weld bead due to a stable arc;
  • welding products made from different alloys, including non-ferrous metals.

How we work

Efficiency and quality are our key priorities. To achieve them, TIG welding is performed using modern equipment. All work is entrusted only to certified specialists with at least 10 years of experience. The process consists of several stages:

  • Project development. Our specialists work through every stage in detail and develop the most efficient and fastest way to manufacture a specific part or assembly.
  • Approval. The completed plan is submitted to the client for discussion. The terms, schedule and cost of manufacturing the parts or structure are approved.
  • Manufacturing. TIG welding is performed in strict compliance with the technology. Our specialists have a complete range of professional equipment for work of varying complexity.
  • Delivery. Parts and structures are delivered by prior agreement. The cost depends on the order volume, transport complexity and route length.

What is needed for a fast order?

For TIG welding to proceed as quickly as possible, only basic information is required. The following data is needed to place an order:

  • Product manufacturing. Provide part drawings or samples so that the configuration and dimensions can be reproduced.
  • Structure manufacturing. Prepare the design documentation.
  • Manufacturing from scratch. In this case, prepare technical specifications for our engineers to develop the design documentation.

Our managers provide full support at every stage. We will help prepare the technical specifications and clarify other aspects of cooperation.

Where can you order the service?

We provide TIG welding services in Moscow, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Vladimir, Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod and nearby cities. Contact an Ivanovo Mechanical Plant manager for more information and to place an order.
