Laser cutting is a technology for processing metal products with a laser beam. A computer program focuses and directs the beam at the metal. This technology can process metals of any type and strength in industrial production, as well as manufacture and shape workpieces with complex geometries. The nesting process cuts metal products and produces narrow kerfs. The workpiece receives minimal heat input and therefore undergoes virtually no deformation.
Advantages of Laser Cutting
Metal laser cutting offers a number of advantages over traditional cutting methods:
- high precision;
- no heating of the products;
- the ability to create complex and three-dimensional structures;
- high-quality cut surfaces;
- no material deformation;
- no mechanical impact on the product;
- the ability to process fragile products;
- short production times.

Metal laser cutting is performed using modern equipment and technology. CNC machines can produce products of various configurations and sizes with minimal waste. Entrepreneurs, organizations, and private individuals can use our plant services. Customers receive competitive prices, guarantees, and short lead times regardless of order volume.
Laser Metal Cutting: Process Features
Laser cutting applies heat to the metal structure by gradually heating a narrow area to its melting and boiling points, causing evaporation. A laser cutting machine consists of four parts:
- radiation source — the working medium;
- energy source — the pumping circuit;
- optical resonator;
- automated control unit (CNC).
Depending on the emitter type, machines are classified as solid-state, gas, or gas-dynamic.
Advantages of Laser Cutting Metals
Metal laser cutting services are in demand because of the following advantages:
- no deformation of the processed structure, which makes it possible to cut workpieces from fragile alloys sensitive to mechanical impact;
- the ability to cut sheet metal: steel from 0.2 to 30 mm thick, aluminum up to 20 mm, and copper, brass, and other alloys up to 15 mm;
- computerized nesting combined with a kerf width of 0.1–0.2 mm ensures efficient material use with minimal waste;
- finished-part dimensional accuracy of at least 0.04–0.1 mm.
