At the end of the year, it is customary to look back at all the important events that took place during it, and 2020 brought no shortage of such events.
This difficult year brought great upheaval to people around the world. It taught us many lessons and made us reflect on many things.
Despite all the difficulties, our plant did not stop for a minute. Even during the lockdown, we continued to work actively. New production lines were developed and existing ones were improved. We continued to fulfill current orders steadily. We understood that stability was especially important during this difficult period. That is why we put all our efforts into ensuring that every piece of equipment ordered before the lockdown was ready exactly on time. And we achieved it.
The lockdown made many people think about stability. Many people who had dreamed of starting their own business but had hesitated and postponed it took a decisive first step. Some of them chose a stable, high-income manufacturing business. We are grateful to all the partners who chose our plant as their equipment supplier.
Key events at Ivanovo Mechanical Plant in 2020
- Equipment for manufacturing GFRP pipes was developed and put into production, and production was also arranged for mandrels used to manufacture GFRP pipes with diameters from 300 mm to 4,200 mm.
- Grating tables with an automatic glass-fiber roving laying system were put into production. The first owner of the new table was Novy Profil (Pultra Group of Companies).
- Our equipment expanded far beyond Russia. We launched a GFRP rebar production plant in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
- A state-of-the-art production facility for manufacturing industrial conveyors was launched.
- Construction was completed on a new two-story industrial complex with a floor area of 1,000 m2. The complex is intended to house professional equipment for a complete metalworking cycle, from processing sheet metal or profile pipe to the finished product. It is designed to manufacture products of any complexity, from shelving units to industrial equipment.
- To further develop our production infrastructure, new land plots were acquired for the construction of additional industrial complexes. Separate workshops for assembling and testing equipment will be located on these plots.
- In December, amid a general increase in resin prices, IMZ began developing and testing new Dugalak resins at its production facilities. The main objective of the tests was to reduce the cost of the product (resin) for our partners.
All this will allow us to remain a leader in Russia in supplying high-quality equipment for the production of composite materials.
As 2020 comes to an end, we would like to wish all our partners stability. May all the surprises in the New Year be pleasant and financially rewarding. We wish you new customers, expanded sales and a broader product range. Remember that we are always ready to support your initiatives and offer effective solutions for your new tasks.
We wish you and your loved ones good health!
